The Severed Sun World Premiere at Fantastic Fest

The Severed Sun had its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest, one of the most prestigious genre film festivals in the world! Producers Jude Goldrei and Rebecca Wolff attended with Writer/Director Dean Puckett, Cinematographer Ian Forbes, cast members Lewis Gribben and Barney Harris, along with support from our North American Distibutor Dark Sky Films, and the BFI's Global Screen Fund Festival Launch scheme. Our screenings were sold out, we had amazing reviews, and we had an absolute blast at this most wonderful festival!

Lunar Lander Films receives Channel 4 Emerging Indies Fund award

We are so excited to have been selected as one of Channel 4's discretionary Emerging Indie Fund awardees! We are looking forward to working with Channel 4, and huge congratulations to all of the other companies who have been selected.

Filming has wrapped on The Severed Sun

We have wrapped filming on folk horror feature The Severed Sun, written and directed by Dean Puckett, which we produced alongside Rebecca Wolff at Grasp the Nettle Films.

The film stars Emma Appleton, Toby Stephens, Jodhi May, Lewis Gribben, Barney Harris, Oliver Maltman, and James Swanton, and was supported by Cultivator Cornwall’s Screen Growth Production Fund, Falmouth University, OnSight, HH5, Heatseeker Media ELD, James Brant, and Primary Visual Effects. Co-Producers are Daria Nitsche and James Brant, with Ella Turner as Associate Producer. We shot the film on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall with the most wonderful cast and crew!

MELA in development with the BFI

We are working with Screen International 'Star of Tomorrow' Paven Virk to develop MELA, a Romantic Comedy set in Birmingham against the back drop of the MELA festival. We are delighted to be developing this with the BFI.

We are working with hugely talented writer Nina Berry to adapt her gorgeous 5* Guardian reviewed play THE TERMINAL VELOCITY OF SNOWFLAKES with the BFI. The story explores love and quantum entanglement.

We are co-producing amazing horror short film THE THING THAT ATE THE BIRDS for writer/directors Dan Gitsham and Sophie Mair, with Sketchbook Pictures and Rebecca Wolff at Grasp the Nettle Films. The film is funded by ALTER & BFI and we are currently shooting in Yorkshire.
